Uh, okay, I actually had to sleep on this one before I could get the answer straight.

I’m assuming that what you mean is what made me want to continue Stark industries after I safely returned to America with shrapnel in my heart? I’ll just roll with that assumption, if you don’t mind.

Let’s see, first of all, shutting down Stark Industries is just about as close to impossible as you can get. I mean unless we go bankrupt, but I think the fact that we haven’t, even after having shut down our weapons manufacturing branch, goes a long way in showing how possible that is…right. My point is, my father built this company from the ground up, and I’ll be damned if I ever see it fall.

I’ll also be damned if I ever see it fall into the wrong hands. When I was being held captive in Afghanistan, I saw that all my life’s work had been put to use destroying and killing. I watched young men and women die. And I realized that I was creating a legacy for my father that was filled with death and pain. Not to mention, contributing to a system that held no one and nothing responsible for that pain.

What I’m trying to say is that not continuing Stark Industries would have been the most irresponsible thing I could possibly have done. What I’ve got going on now? Well, it’s ten steps in the right direction, if you ask me. Clean energy and defense systems over weapons, any day.

This is actually a really great question, and a difficult one, at that.

Let’s see, favorite inanimate object…I probably have a lot. Any kind of power tool is a beautiful kind of power tool. Especially the monkey wrench. Try it some time, you’ll love it, Mr. Tumblrbot.

Do holograms count as objects? Or inanimate for that matter?

Hey, my keyboard interface isn’t loud at all! There aren’t even any physical keys. So I am keeping quiet. Moderately. If SHIELD has a problem, they can come to me. It doesn’t work the other way around.
